2005 chevy equinox will not crank. Turn the key, dash lights turn on, hear a pop from starter area but that's it. No Passlock light on dash so that's probably not the issue.

The pop is starter solenoid. When you turn key the electric part of starter activated but not mechanical part. Replace starter

What all do i need to change when doing a tune up for a chevy 2005 equniox

Just basically spark plugs and an air filter. The plugs don't need replacement until 100,000 miles. The fuel filter is located inside the fuel pump assembly in the gas tank and is not serviceable. It doesn't require a PCV valve and there are no adjustments available for the throttle body, idle or timing.

I have a 2005 Chevy Aveo and my dashboard ligths will not come on. I have replaced my headlight switch, but that does not seem to fix the problem, help please.

I know this may sound stupid but I have seen people do this many times. 1st have you checked you fuse, 2nd have you turned the handle left or right on you headlight switch or there maybe a separate Dimmer on the dash you need to find it they have a dimming system somewhere. If this guys don't work it's probably a wiring problem and should go to the dealer.

2005 chevy colorado .Security alarm flashes when starting then stays on. Engine starts and then dies. Takes 20-30 starts to get the truck to start. How to solve the problem or disable the alarm.

2006 colorado..security system keeps me from starting the truck , but not every time. i had a new key made but the security symbol pops up now and then too. can the system be turned off//

2005 BUICK TERAZZA...MANUAL SAYS THERE ARE 2 FUSE BLOCKS i LOCATED THE ONE IN ENGINE COMPARTMENT BUT CAN'T FIND THE ONE THAT THE BOOK SAYS IS UNDER PASSENGER SIDE OF DASH???

It's not under the dash, its' on the side. Open the passenger door look at the side of the dash facing the door opening. You should see a fuse symbol molded into the plastic. Pop this off and you've found your fuse block.

Whats wrong when the power sterrig message appears in the dash window. was driving down the road in heavy rain yesterday and the message kept popping up.... then a light in my dash with the symbol of a car...

2006??? sorry but as far i as know you will need to return vehicle to dealer because all cars from 2005 are using encrypted software .Best advice i can offer is to wait till it dries out a bit and see what happens in case water has shorted something out

Where is the low service port on the 2005 chevy equniox

if you notice the size of them , the bigger port is the high side , and the smaller of the 2 is the low side , you will add freon to the smaller port - the low / suction side .

No T/C stands for traction control all it does is keep your back tires from spinning on wet surfaces. I turn my off. All it does is slow the motor down so your wheels if they are spinning they can get traction.

T/c is traction control if you have a 2wd equinox if it is an awd and the t/c comes on your dash this is an engine problem and you whould definetly have it checked let me know mine is up there now and something is all wrong with our electrical i have heard alot of ppl having trouble with this

Please tell me your outcome. I was driving down road when Tc light came on, lost rpm's, engine stopped then all electrical quit. Had to be towed. Thank you
