I used a u scan and it read C0063 some kind of sensor that needs to move air around motor. It wont pass inspection until I get the engine light off. Is there anyway to fix, to get through inspection in NJ
Okay, this is a 2005 trail blazer with code co063.
i am sorry but the code is no good, co063 or c0063
try to rescan the code or go to an auto part store like an auto zone and they will scan for free otherwise with out a good scan tool the codes are generic and lots of times the codes wont cross to a good code.
Testimonial: "I did take it and it is a DTC- P0410, they said it probably has to do with a secondary air system. Im trying to get through inspection in nj. The mech reset the thing and i started with 5 codes drove 60 miles and still have 3, my questions is how far do you have to drive to get down to 1. and out of the 5 codes which one is really causing the problem. And Thank You for the first response."
SOURCE: Air Bag light on...need it off for it to pass security inspection
the air bag system has its own diagnostic codes that can be read from a scanner, you have to go into the body section and look for srs restraint system
SOURCE: wont complete scan to pass emission test
When you rest your codes there is a series of tests your ECU has to go through before you can pass emissions. this is done some people can reset the code and go before its sets the code again. on the 96 you can have 2 tests not complete for it to pass. basicly you have to drive the car a couple days for the tests to pass.
check the readiness tests wait until only 2 have not passed. then you should be good.so drive and check.

SOURCE: I have a 97 s-10 p/u. Check engine light stays on.
sounds like you need a shop to inject smoke in your evap system to find the leak
SOURCE: engine code p0410
If the air pump is working then it's going to be the one way check valve at the manifold. It's common for the check valves to go bad before the air pump, check the pipe from the pipe to the manifold too.
Before you get that far i believe there was a TSB and the warranty is 5 years to the emission system on vehicles. Looks like your close to the end of your 5 year so step on it to the dealer while you can still get a deal on this repair.
Good luck and hope this helps.
SOURCE: air bag sensor light on, and stays on.
the air bag light being on is most likely a mal funtion, they shold have not had to mess with the wiring for the air bag, in the old days air bags had an acellarometer on the otter part of the car on the front of each fender if one was disconnected it would cause the light to come on, since yours is a generation 2, I suspect a different problem, since air bagsare explosive I do not recomend you try repairing it but I have a web page where they can trouble shoot it for you for a very reasonable price, they can tell you how to reset the lamp and tell you what code it is but it cost's $20.00 still cheeper than hooking up a scanner at a shop. here is the site http://www.airbagsolutions.com/contact.aspx you will need to fill in the information and then you can call them and they will be able to pin point it for you, when working on air bag systems always disconnect the battery and wait 5 minutes before testing or pulling anything apart as they can hold a charge in the ignigher for up to 5 minutes and use only a digital ohm meter to test wires as a meter with a sweeping arm can detonate the air bag, and at 170 MPH if you in the way your gonna get burned. hope this helps.
