Question about 1997 Mitsubishi Montero Sport

Gdi 3500 pajero not giving me enough power and throttle

When i drive it in the morning everything was perfect , the power etc. but after an hour long drive....the car start to throttle it's like does'nt want to shift to a higher gear..i parked the car and start to press the gas accelerator and the revolution reach up to 4000rpm only and it goes back and forth to 2thou and 4thou rpm. i turned off the engine and start again ..and it run so well again..use it for how many days and the problem start i brought it to mechanics and told me to replace fuel pump,tune up the car, and they will clean the servo? after they do that...the car start and will shut down after a they will check the sensor....i dont know if my car will run again....its like the common problem of this model base on the testimony of the others

    thank you very much..its working well now...they change the sensor of the air filter..and the automatic transmission fluid and fuel pump....after changing it the car doesnt want to run..and they check again the sensor for the air filter....we test drive it and when we hit 100 km/hour the problem went back...they change the sensor for the third time and test drive it it works...what is good with my mechanics the shop is in the center of the biggest autoshop surplus and brandnew parts of different car model..they use this computer engine analyzer and found out that the air supply is not working because of the sensor...and they will just get parts and if its not working i dont need to pay ....they will get a new one again and so on and on...but thank god its working now..many thanks and the mehanic said its really the defect of that model...he used to work with mitsubishi and experienced the same problem with that model....

I have mitsubishi Pajero GDI V6 3500, i was on the high way and suddenly the movement became very slugsih. i contacted my Auto mechanic who discovered that one side of the engine is not performing, the left side exhaust was cold while the right side was hot. ie the cold side injection nuzzles does not work , please what could be the possible solution ?

It sounds like muck in the fuel tank to me. caused by condensation from the air in the tank turning to water. making sludge in bottom of the tank. usr sludge remover before anything. web site AMITECH or just put sludge in petrol tank in serch engine on computer. also clean the filler cap in boiling water incase the vent is blocked.

I have a pajero 3500 gdi 1997 model, that is light engine check in dashboard and can't accelerate more than 3000 rpm.

ECU has logged an error code. YOu need to read it out with a tester and then fix the reported problem or clear the error code.
ECU goes to safe mode with reduced power if certain errors are logged.

What can be the solution for my pajero gdi 3500 model 2000 does not engage the gear early morning?

Transmission fluid is on te base of the engine all settle up. Once the oil runs all over the transmission will work easily. I would make check and refill the oil on the transmission.
Until then, start ur engine and let it warm and pump for a minute until all the oil is washing all over and then go.

Pajero not startingI have Pajero IO 2003, GDI 1.830 turbo. When I start it in the morning, I must try 3 time for it to start. Please help

a few things could be the cause , one is glow plugs , two is injectors are dirty which usually gives black smoke out exhaust , three is injection pump leaking , and four dirty fuel filter . these are things I would check .

Mitsubishi GDI 3500 engine 6G74 it cranks but no spark any solutions

Got Mitsubishi challenger 6g74 there is no spark, changed the crank and cam sensor, fuel is coming but still no spark. please help

Mitsubishi Pajero Exceed 1997 Model Engine #6G74 GDI V6 3500,no power,I suspect its the engine control unit,I order the ECU,but still no power,probably its crankshaft and camshaft sensor.

I solve this problem with Mitshubishi Pajero GDI 6G74 like this: remove the two little filters from the high pressure pump and ,if necessary, insert a external gasoline filter.
