Hi welcome main problems are the abs valves causing the 3 dash lights (search 3 amigos online) a really badly sited compressor can cause air suspension models to fail giving the bags a slow leak the V8 is a solid engine but can have radiator expansion tank and cap failures
the other issue is electrics windows and door looms are problematic

Go to Land Rover website they have owners manuals, handbooks available for free download for owners, Other publications including workshop manuals can be accessed for a charge

Check with your local Land Rover dealership. They usually give you this information for free. Write this down in your owners manual for future reference. In fact, check your owners manual to see if this has already been done.

Best way to get the sequence and torque is from a Chiltons repair manuel. There not cheap so unless you plan on doing a lot of your own repairs in the future I'd go find a copy in the library and write down the info you need. The only time I bought a Chiltons was when I was restoring a classic MG. I believe it was about $50 at the time. You might also try a LR owners club on the internet.

Review the 1998-Discovery-Owners-Manual-Section-4 (page 24 and next) The fuse is Nº 14 / 10 Amp for Instruments / Clock / Speed transducer.

I suggest that you visit the autozone.com website and register the vehicle. It doesn't cost anything and will give you access to an online repair manual for the vehicle. Pretty handy. There should be information available on the fuel system and replacing the fuel filter there. Hope this helped and best wishes.
