There is the message apere on screen(the disc cannot be read)I have tryed volvo cleanning disc but nothing had change.The maps disc is new.I wonder if dvd unit can be repaired beccouse new one cost about £900.00

The fuel filter can be located under the carpeted cargo storage floor at the rear of the wagon. Remove the four 10mm bolts, remove the cover. You will then see a removeable plate to the right just behind the rear passenger seat. Fuel filter can be seen through hole in hole. Replaced from underneath wagon. Be sure to make sure lines are fully inserted onto filter. Check for leaks. No smoking, extinguisher handy. Note arrow on filter for correct fuel flow.

The most common problem is either the blower motor or the speed control resistor. Both items can be accessed by removing the glove box and panel below it.

I had the same issue in my 2006 XC90. The Dealer replaced the whole unit since it was still under warrenty. They belived that the motor of the dvd unit was wobbling. I do not believe they can be repaired (at least not by volvo service)
