My battery died about two weeks ago due to the rear door being left open over night. We charged the battery but it acts like it does not want to start ever since. Now today when I drove it the speedometer and odometer are stuck at zero.

i had that problem before i turned the key to on and pressed the odomiter button twice and held it down it started to run through the codes and havent had a problem with it since.
SOURCE: No gear change. Speedo remains on zero. New battery goes flat.

Hello, you are wantng to know if you have the right size battery for your vehicle. It sounds as if your battery may not have enough cold crank amps in it to support your vehicle, or either the battery you have has a bad cell. Your local auto supply store should be able to help determine if the battery is bad. It may also have just a surface charge and need to be charged on a trickle charger overnight or either there may be a parasitic draw on your battery beside the lights, but before going through a bunch of different test check your battery condition, then manufacturer specs, then battery cranking amps to manufacturer specs. I would say about a 800 cca battery at least.

a scanner that gets into the instrument cluster computer can reset the needles. or take the dash apart and manually turn dash cluster upsidedown, then the needles will move so rotate untill the needles are reset.
