My dome light comes on for no good reason (running down the highway or simply parked in the garage). Opening and closing doors has no effect when it is stuck on, but if I monkey with the dome light dimmer/switch, it goes out momentarily and then comes back on after random periods of time. Rebooting the computer seems to have no effect and I concluded at one time that it is not the dimmer/switch, but I don't recall what I did to isolate it as the possible problem (maybe it really is the problem.... I give up)
It started less than 6 months after I bought it new from Dodge and I've have it in to the dealer no less than six times for this exact problem. They "fixed" it each time and have given me various explanations about what they "fixed", but the fixes were all very temporary as the problem keeps coming back. I have to remove the bulb because it is a problem when driving and it drains the batteries when parked.

Try checking under hood in power distribution box for blown fuses also, or bad connection to it.
SOURCE: abs and park brake light came on same time
Its either the speed sensor on the rear differential or your steering wheel is all the way down pinching a wire in the harness. I have had both problems. Raise the steering wheel and if that does not fix it then its the speed sensor(might be called something else) but it is on the rear diff.
