The toyota mechanic said "don't worry about it." It's my wife's car and sher worries. Dashlights and headlights both flicker when car is running, does not flicker when engine is not running. This is a toyota dealership mechanic. Can anyone help?
She really shouldnt worry about it hate to say , but do have a question i know its a avalon and all but do you have a trailer hitch with harness on the car wouldnt ask if i havent seen it before i work at toyota dealer as a mechanic and when they wire the harness for the hitch they tap into the light circuit causes the flickering hope this helps

New wife?.... just kidding :-) Check to make sure your battery, alternator and ground terminals are tight and clean. Other than that, this could be a sign that the battery is getting old.
