I'm not a car mechanic, but, it sounds like you might want to check the fuse to the ignition switch, and, if that fails, it might be a problem with the Start Safety Switch on the transmission. Good luck.
Hello. Your battery is run down, discharged, and will need charging up before it will start the car on its own. Don't know if that's why the car would not start the first time you tried it. It could be, if the battery wasn't spinning the engine fast enough to start. You could try getting a boost from another car with battery jumper cables. Let someone hook it up, or show you how. If the engine won't start after a couple of tries, there may be some other reason it won't start, other than a weak battery. Better have the battery charged up off the car, and see a mechanic about the no start. But it may start with a strong battery. Now you know how a low battery affects the car's electrical system, so you are no longer totally clueless. Good luck.
Hi it sounds like a bettery fault, check the battery leads are on tight and all have a good connection.
Also ensure the earth lead from the battery has a good contact on the car body.
Probably the battery. The battery may have enough voltage for the lights to work; however, this may not be enough voltage to start the car.
Find someone with cables to give you a jump start. Then take the car by an auto parts place and have them load test your battery. Most stores do this at no charge.
Problem number one sounds like a dead battery to me. Problem with driver door is the cable in your window regulator is broken and bound up. Will need to replace the regulator. Passenger side window problem could be caused by a number of things... most common that come to mind are window guide not in correct position or one of the bolts that hold the window to the regulator has come loose.
sounds like a weak battery you have now. Have a load test done to it free at Auto Zone first to see if it a good battery still. If its very old and your key was on all night the battery is probably history now
