Need wiring diagram at interior connector for installing '91 cher

Trailers with electric brakes need them too. The 7-Way Trailer Plug is around 2? diameter connector that allows an additional pin for an auxiliary 12-volt power or backup lights.

Connect to the brake controller and route the black and blue wires. Find the blue wire that comes off of your electronic brake controller. Attach the blue wire that came with your 7-wire plug to this blue wire. Locate the rubber grommet that surrounds the interior wiring harness where it feeds through the firewall.

I don't see a 20 pin connector, but maybe some pins are not used?? There are 3 connectors, A, B, and C in the diagram at the link.

You don't mention which series the car is (Mk 2...). I would highly suggest picking up a Bentley manual for the car though. Much better than any other aftermarket book out there. Mine (for Mk 2's) has all the wiring diagrams in the back. They are pricey, but it'll pay you back many times over if you like to wrench your own car.

Do you have lighted visor vanity mirrors? If so disconnect them both and recheck the short. I have found the hot wire rubs through due to lowering the visor, this shorts out the interior light circuit. Never use a higher amperage fuse than what came out, you risk starting a electrical fire, have seen this happen 1st hand.

They have free diagrams in the repair section. All you will have to do is register and that is free as well.

try changing the fuse, the box is located on the passenger side floor. There is a diagram on the cover.

i checked 2 resources and they match , have you tries this schematic , see if you have a match to your cars wiring . actually this code matched corolla 88-92 , and also i checked all models of corolla and it matched , and from looking at the connector this is the order they are in

looking at the connector , the only thing i don't see is the green illumination wire . if this is not a match , please comment back , what your wires are , and i will match them . thanks
