No, schematics show there are headlamp drivers integrated within the Smart Junction Box (SJB). Check fuse F23 located in the SJB. I believe the SJB is located below the steering wheel, see your owners manual.
Try the flash high beam function by moving multifunction switch rearward. If hi beam flash works then fuse and SJB headlamp drivers are good and the headlight selector switch is suspect. Test wiring between select switch and the SJB.
For free wiring diagrams (with ads) try Carmin Std.
This is for front washer pump, see the fuse. The battery junction box is under the hood. Hopefully the fuse box cover will have a legend that tells you which fuse is which. If not, try your owners manual. If you don't have an owners manual and want to read it online for free, we might be able to point you in right direction.
I will just about 100% guarantee this is not a fuse problem, and even it was what blew the fuse, a shorted horn for sure, so even if you installed a new fuse it would pop again. Go to the Horns and test them if they work you most likely have a defective coiled ribbon contact drum under the steering wheel, it is called the "Clockspring contact drum" Below is a link to a free owners manual. Look in the section called "Roadside Emergencies" http://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/catalog/owner_guides/08f12og1e.pdf
That fuse powers the central junction box . Do you know where that is ? It is located under left side of instrument panel . IF the fuse 103 blew the central junction box may need to be replace .
I would check the owner's manual for this information. Most of the fuses are in the giant electrical junction box under the hood near the RF wheel. However, my 2006 charger has a faulty map impreinted on it- like it was drawn mirror image? Some other few fuses are in the junction box near the battery under the trunk floor.
Start with the owner's manual, usually in the glovebox.
If you have an owners manuall the fuse diagram is in the manual. You will have to check the central junction box which is in the dash under the drivers side of the vehicle, The horn relay is in the battery junction box under the hood. Both diagrams are in the owners manual.
it may be your clock spring. if your fuses aren't blown try the clock spring. you can get the directions online and buy the part from the dealership. it takes maybe thirty minutes but saves you lots of money. another easy way to tell if it is the clock spring.....does your cruise control work? if not the clock spring is bad.
For the rear wiper fuse 12 10 amp in the battery junction box and fuse 11 15 amp in the central junction box. For the speed control fuse 7 20 amp battery junction box, fuse 13 20 amp central junction box fuse 5 15 amp central junction box. I hope this helps and good luck
you should have a chart in your owner manual or on the fuse panel cover. You have fuses & relays in the engine compartment too.
BATTERY JUNCTION BOX
CENTRAL JUNCTION BOX
FUSE 42
fuse 42 goes from BJB to fuse 37 in CJB. If it is blown, you have a direct short circuit in the wiring or the item it is protecting. Try another fuse first & see if it blows again and what is not working in the car. report back.
i have the owners manual, but still don't have a schematic to explain which fuse is which.
