It depends on how your truck is configured. What transmission do you have?

The switch is located at the top of the clutch pedal assembly, above your feet. Its a little cramped, but its a simple dc two wire switch, you should be able to check it with a meter for power and to see if the switch does indeed need replacement. If thats the problem, when you see the new switch, you'll know it goes in, very easy. good luck

The switch is on the transmission..It is usually a dealer item but you can get one from Rockauto.com for about 1/4 of what the dealers charge.

Check out the autozone website at autozone.com and register your vehicle. It is free and will give you access to an online repair manual for the vehicle. The steps for removing the neutral safety switch can be found there. Hope this helped. Best wishes.

Under dash driver side look behind the upper arm of clutch pedal and you should see a green and black wire coming from the button (switch) assembly on the firewall. The wires go up above the clutch pedal. About in the middle of under dash on the left side you should see a white connector these wires run to. Disconnect. I just had the problem and not only starts now but not stalling like it was but it's only been one day but tested it pretty good.
