Was reading multi miss fire codes on 4 out of 6 cylinders. changed plugs , wires, and coil pack then read 5 out of 6 miss fire. put injector cleaner in and now the miss fire codes are gone and it reads circuit to high or low on the tps sensor, map sensor, and engine coolant temp sensor. car starts and runs really sluggish then dies. 2003 dodge grand caravan sport 3.3l.

It sounds like you have a vacuum leak or intake gaskets leaking. Try this. Start the engine and let it reach the idle it want to go to. Get you a can of Brake Clean and spray it around the intake manifold (it on the top center of the engine, you may have to removed a plastic cover) If the engine idle changes up or down then the intake gaskets are leaking hence your vacuum leak. I hope this will help you.

SOURCE: 2003 grand am 3.4 code p0304

More likely a plugged injector as that code is specific to cylinder # 3 These engines are also very prone to failed intake manifold gaskets and stuck valve lifters. I think I'd start with a compression test, if that's good, go injector. If the compression is bad, you've got a can of worms. Hold off on the O2, I don't think it's related.

SOURCE: code reads P0340 Camshaft position Sensor circuit

That makes the computor think the timing is off. Replace the sensor and see if that does it. You will then have to have the code cleared (erased) or the light will come back on/stay on.

Ouch! A case of the raucous rodent! I've been there...Not fun trying to track down and repair all the damage.

First of all, let me explain how the code sets: The computer monitors the PRIMARY side of the coil to determine the burn time on the SECONDARY side of the coil. This can be a little confusing. The code will set when the computer determines that secondary ionization (burn time) was too short, too long, or did not occur at all.
If you have confirmed that there is no spark at the spark plug wires, then that is why the code is setting...ionization is not occurring at all. What can be a little confusing is that this can be caused by a failure in the PRIMARY coil circuit even though the code is indicating that the computer is having a problem with the SECONDARY circuit. (The secondary circuit can malfunction even though the primary side is functioning perfectly, but if the primary side malfunctions, the secondary side ALSO malfunctions - it is impossible for the secondary side to work if the primary side is not working.)

So, I said all that to tell you this: I think you have pretty much eliminated the entire secondary side of the ignition by replacing the whole circuit. So the problem must be on the primary side. (Probably more chewed wires)
There are 4 wires going to your ignition coil. The BROWN/WHITE wire comes from the ASD RElay and supplies battery voltage to the coil assembly. Since the other four cylinders are firing, This wire has to be OK.
The code you are getting is for coil #2. This coil is controlled by computer through the DARK BLUE/TAN wire. If you disconnect your coil connector and probe this wire with a test light connected to the POSITIVE battery post, it should "blink" when to crank the engine over. My guess is that it will not be blinking. You can do this also on the BROWN/ORANGE (coil #1) wire and the DARK BLUE/DARK GREEN (coil #3) wire to see the difference.

Anyway, if the DARK BLUE/TAN wire does not blink, then the wire is broken (chewed?) between the coil and the PCM.

Dead miss on one cylinder 99 sl2

A quick way to check the single coil pack if you know for sure which cylinder is miss firing and its setting a code you can swap the coil pack to another cylinder and see if the miss changes from one cylinder to another. If it travels to where you moved the coil then the coil is bad,if not you have other problems.

At idle miss firing on cyl 1 3 5

Check connectors for injectors and plug coils. The read out would have told you what injector or plug was faulty. Come back with the code numbers.

Can you tell me what the firing order is when looking at the motor of a 2005 GMC Envoy SLT 4.2?

Firing order is 1, 5, 3, 6, 2, 4. Number 1 cylinder is up front. Why would you need the firing order, this engine does not have plug wires, each plug has its own coil pack, each coil pack is controlled by the computer.

My 2004 chevy trailblazer is missing badly. Had them read the code for me at auto zone and it said I had a miss fire on the number one cylinder. I changed the plugs and it is still missing badly

Try moving the coil pack from cylinder 1 to another cylinder (swap locations) and see if the same code comes up. If code is different, then coil pack is bad. Other reasons for miss; bad injector, poor compression.
Also, I know you changed plugs already, but always use AC Delco 43-103 plugs on this vehicle.

double check plug wires to be sure they go to the right cylinders. After that i would check fuel injectors
You need a listening device and listen for metallic clicking sound. Bad injectors will be silent and they do cause the same miss

My car has been spontaniously misfiring in the #1 and #2 cylinder, I have installed new plugs, wires, coil, rotor, and distributor cap, I am still having the same problem. Any suggestions?

I would look at and poosibly replace the fuel injectors.
Should the miss-fire remain the same, then the ignition rectifier pack may be breaking down, this is a unit on top of the airbox, with two multi plugs on it (one 4 pin and one 5 pin).
Another problem may be the "air mass" meter, if it is reading incorrect the ecu will think the engine is running rich and adjust the fueling appropriately ( can cause same fault if there is an air leak in the intake system, so check that before the air mass meter).
If your technician has a code reader, ask if it can check the "measured value blocks" or live reading's. if so, group 003 field 3/4 will tell you the air mass reading in mg/r or mg/s, this should be no lower than 2.5 and no higher than 4.5 on idle. Also display group 006, field 4 shows altitude correction, this should be around -5% to 5%

1999 k15000 305 engine. miss firing on no. 3 and 5 cylinders. put new plugs wires cap and button. Put in new injector pump still not firing on 3 and 5

The most likely problem is that coil pack is bad these two are paired on the same coil so replace the 3/5 coil pack if you let it keep going it will damage the other coils or the diode plate which costs another $75.00 Buy From GM not aftermarket. Also get dielectric grease to put on the boots of the plug wires both ends
