Kevin, Ignition and door locks are different cut keys on 1966 Buick. the ignition key was square/octagon shape and the door lock/trunk key were oval.

Trunk latch

Check in the glove box for a push button to open trunk. Also along the driver's side floor sill (between the seat and the door). Along the bottom of the dash on driver's side, check there too. My son has a '92 Lesabre, and there is no trunk release-only the key opens the trunk.

You are exactly right. The key is not being cut properly and not all the tumblers in the lock cylinder are being depressed. There for the PCM is not recognizing the ignition activation.

Horn randomly honks(very annoying while your trying to sleep) HELP!

its possible that the relay is the problem as most relays have a second power feed wire,if it shorts to the horn side of the relay it can blow the horn.doesn`t happen very often but it does happen.this could explain the horn blowing without the fuse in.you can get a door key made at a lock smith to solve that problem.

It rained in my car and now my trunk release does not work on driver's door but the trunk pops when opening door with key, when opening and closing door and sometimes when putting key in the ignition

Sounds like water got to that trunk release. Pull it out, try drying it off, or replacing it if it looks damaged. maybe water is still collected at the electrical connector, or has corroded it.

i guess you have no key ? this car does not have the safety pull cord on it so you have to take out the glove box door and bring it to a locksmith and ask them to make a key the glove box and door are supposed to match the trunk if locks were changed and dont match you could always ask them if they could try to make one for you . hope this helps

Obviously you'll want to check the fuses first as that's the easiest, but i think you may find that the problem is a bad common ground. Pull up the carpet a little near the drivers door opening and you should find a large group of ground wires. That area is a susceptible to water entry and with water comes corrosion. If you find it corroded clean it up as best as possible with a wire brush and reconnect everything and put some dielectric grease on the area.

is this key the valet key? if it is it will not open the

If it has the electric trunk release, the button could be in the glove box.
Otherwise you may have to remove the back seat to gain entry to the trunk.
