How liquid got into the ignition switch is beyond me but, when an airbag is removed, you're going to keep getting that sound or noise you are hearing until you replace your airbag.
Also, have your ignition switch replaced unless you can do it yourself, which is a lot cheaper.
Remember, when you go to get your vehicle inspected, you better have the airbag working and in good order.
Hope this helps.

SOURCE: water in the radiator reducing everyday in mitsubishi pajero IO

If you do not see any obvious leaks or puddles under the car, you may have a head gasket leak. A compression test will find this. Any good mechanic will be able to do this test.

You may have to remove the dash board to get access. If mounted on center console then that has to be removed.

Pajero not startingI have Pajero IO 2003, GDI 1.830 turbo. When I start it in the morning, I must try 3 time for it to start. Please help

a few things could be the cause , one is glow plugs , two is injectors are dirty which usually gives black smoke out exhaust , three is injection pump leaking , and four dirty fuel filter . these are things I would check .
