Hi, does the radio go back the standard settings when you turn off the key, if it does than try checking the fuse for the constant power supply as this controls the time memery and the settings for the stations, if not try holding the station button down for 3 to 4 sec
hope this helped

Testimonial: "I have took the fuse out and put back in it when I hold the botton down it still don't set"

AFter changing battery in my 2006 Altima the radio doesn't work

You will probably have to set up the stations again as they will all be wiped from memory when you change the battery. Manually tune the radio to the station you want. Then press and hold the button you want for that station until you hear a chirp. That station and button are done

Light displaying radio station not working

back light dead.
so use the dimmer knob. all cars have a dash dimmer that runs all car parking light on, dimmed lamps. all.
so fiddle that.
get the operators guide, (lost) ????
read the pages on dash dimming.
if that dont fix it, check fuses. next.

My radio only works for a short distance then goes staticky, also can't set the time

the operator guide in the glove box , covers time set.
all radios do that.
and if not normal, the antenna is broken or fell off the rear of radio.

if got static switch to FM ,
many AM stations, broadcase to am and fm same content.
so use FM. its static free. (by design) but does fade sooner.
you can in fact hear AM station 12,000 miles away it night
called super stations, 50,000 watt stations. ive done this many time.

did you try another car, in same spot , and same station?
are you in under ground parking?

My concert radio wont pick up AM stations

your probably in a bad place and you wont pick up a signal like if your out of cell phone range, except your probably out of radio range for am stations.

What can be done if a radio reads off when switched on after battery has been temporarily removed?

You will just have to re-set your stations, etc. Very common when the battery is disconnected or removed. In case the code is lost, I taped mine to the top of the radio and kept a copy in the glovebox. A dealer should be able to supply a radio code from your registration.

Radio Station stuck on one station and wont change!

sounds like the radio is locked up.... if the radio requires a code do you have it and know how to install it... if so ... unhook the battery for about 15 minutes and hook it back up... should work ok then...

Need to change the 12v supply by the Radio

The Ford Focus has a stereo problem where the display blinks on and off, with or without the ignition on. This is not a power problem.

This problem occurs when attempting to store a radio station when a blank RDS signal is being transmitted.
To restore your stereo:
  • Insert a CD, stereo will turn on in CD mode.
  • Press MENU button
  • Select DEFAULT RESET by turning the right rotary knob and press to select
  • Select YES by tuning the right rotary knob and press select
  • Press BACK button
  • Press the RDS button once, display will read RDS OFF
  • Stereo will now work properly
To prevent this problem from occurring again, be sure some text is in the top line of the display when setting a stereo station. Do not set a station when the station name is blank in display.
