So I'm trying to program my 2001 Toyota Highlander with a keyless remote. However, every time I get it into programming mode, it always unlocks and locks the door twice instead of once. I have tried it multiple times with no success. Please help me
You will need to see the dealer on this issue, the control module needs to be scanned.

You need one working key, it is really not a master key.

If it is the facyory installed keyless remote then you will have to take it to the dealer to be programed remeber to take all remotes with you. If it is an after market system respond back with make and model

Don't see why not. As long as you have an Automatic Transmission, you should be fine. (You don't want it to be in gear when remote starting)
They're pretty straight forward.
