2000 Honda Accord po-7*** errors

I recently took my car to a mechanic to see what was wrong with it and they gave me the codes for things wrong but couldn't do anything else. The codes were : po-700,po-720,po-730,po-740,po-780. Also, they said something about the sensor circuit and solenoid circuit.

You can't fix these types of complex electronic engine control problems without special equipment.

SOURCE: 2000 Honda Accord EGR Valve Error P0401

Jason,
-after you change the part you have to reset/clear the code

-this can be done by either:
(1) using the OBD2 code reader that Autozone used OR since option 2 (below) is very quick
(2) disconnecting the battery for about 30 seconds (this will delete all codes/radio presets/etc) but it will also clear the 'check engine' code
-this is what I do AFTER i write down my radio station presets :)

-hopefully the new EGR valve resolves your issue after you CLEAR the code
...but that code just means a an insufficient amount of Exhaust Gas recirculation (pressure difference) used to keep the emissions in check
-if it comes back, then there are a few other fixes to try also

-let me know if you need further assistance
-please remember to rate me `fix-ya`if it works
thanks

I don't know how the above could have any effect on temperature. Is the vehicle full of coolant? In my opinion you have two different issues

2000 honda accord

That could be just a "soft" code. Does it run hot or any other odd acts? Any other codes? If not clear code & see if it returns. It does have a trans sensor but it's a one in a million.

Code PO-141: Downstream Oxygen sensor, heater circuit malfunction.

Sometimes you can get a PO-457 if you overfill your gas tank.

PO 171 fuel system to lean to bank 1 97 Honda Accord 165k miles

Yes. I would clean the engine with engine cleaner and then watch for any oul leaks. For you to use that much oil there would be a major leak. If no leaks check to see if blue smohe is coming out you tailpipe. If not keep an eye on is I this it will be fine if none of these things are wrong. I hope this helps. Don't forget to rate my answer. thanks.
