I recently had the upper and lower control arms replaced on my 94 Honda accord. After picking it up, the srs light was on, and the horn and cruise doesn't work. My local Honda shop doesn't want to work on it, so I'm kinda at a loss. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

This is most likely a wiring issue in the steering column. I advise you not to attempt to repair this on your own unless you are an experienced mechanic. If you do be very cautious as the airbag wiring runs through there and can be a very dangerous mistake.

Most likely the clock spring assembly which the wires run through for airbag, cruise switches and horn button. Requires steering wheel removal to access part.

Open the door of both sides (driver and passenger) and look for the panel for the fuses. Remove the panel and you will see the fuse box. The information of the fuses is on the panel.

Hi, the bit is called a Torx Bit or a star bit. Don't get the type for a screwdriver, get the socket that would go on a ratchet, you'll need to put an extension on it of course to get in there. Push hard or it will strip. Give Honda a call and ask them what size it is for your car for sure, might be a 6mm or you can just buy a metric Torx Bit Set. Separately they are $3.99 at Autozone. Not sure how much the kit is. Good luck.

That is usually the case. That is to inform you of a malfunction with that particular part of your vehicle.

Thanks for the response. I have been through the underhood fuse panel as well as the one under the driver's side dash. I was thinking there might be a relay that was out that controlled everything, but I have been searching the internet and asking around with no luck. From reading all the comments on others' cars, it leads me to believe it is the clock spring. I guess I need to take it to the dealer and hope they will give me a straight answer this time.
