Lost car remote, bought a new one. Have to get behind dash to sync the remotes. Not sure how to get behind the dashboard, 2005 elantra

before you mess it up all to *ell. call a dealer and schedule a maintenance check-up. while they have it ask them to teach the car to know your new remote. takes just a minute and they most likely will not charge you if you are there for something else.

Blown stero fuse Hyundai Elantra 2008

Hello Friend, If you checked all your fuses in the fuse panel box, maybe your stereo has an inline fuse that blew out. Sometimes there is a fuse in the back of stereo cabinet. remove from dash and check. Happy to help, Tim. Thanks

Hyundai - how do i unlcok my car stereo?

If all else fails, give dealer service dept, a quick call & explain, I'm sure they wouldn't mind refreshing your memory on how to proceed if not explained in owners manual.

Hyundai remote

no.
the keyfob will not have to be reprogrammed.
only things to note when replacing the battery is that you will have to reset the clock and the radio presets. also, the Auto Down power window feature may have to be initialized.

Battery replacement

who ever replqaced your battery failed to do it properly. You have to supply a voltage (usually thru alligator clips to the battery cables) so the memory is not lost in the keyless entry system , dashboard, & radio which all now need to be reprogrammed by a Hyundai dealer
