Try to check it by taking the system from the cabin and check it with a new fuse.try to check whether the wires are damaged or not,try to check it by connecting it with a 12 v dc supply external,i mean providing the supply by yourself with a battery or voltage supplier unit.thank you

Its quite easy to spot a blown fuse generally a blown fuse looks like this with the wire cut in the middle.

Hi

Have you checked the wirings at the back of the radio . Also check the fuse under the dash.

    The fuse box is located inside the dash usually drivers side. To access this fuse box open the driver side door view the dash from the side it is located behind a pull off plastic panel (no screws)normally just insert a medium size screwdriver inside one of the nootchs and gently pull out. you will find fuse box behind the panel.

First check below the drivers dash for the fuse box and see if the cover is there. It has this list right on it.

How do you check fuse in the back of the radio?
1.Turn off the vehicle. Locate the main fuse box.
2.Locate a fuse box that isn't under the dashboard by checking under the hood of the car.
3.Look at the diagram on the inside of the fuse box's cover.
4.Determine if the fuse is blown by looking through the clear plastic casing.
5.Take the blown fuse to an electronics store or a car-parts store.Push the new fuse into the empty slot in the fuse box, making sure that it is in the same direction as the other fuses. It should slide in with a tight fit.Replace the fuse-box cover.
6.Complete the above steps before removing the car radio.Disconnect the car battery under the hood by disconnecting the cable from the negative terminal (the black cable) of the battery. Remove the dash area around the car radio.Unscrew the four screws on each corner of the car stereo.Locate the fuse on the back of the car radio.

7.Take the blown fuse to a car-parts store or electronics store to find a replacement fuse. Place the new fuse into the car radio.lide the car radio back into the dash opening. Replace the corner screws followed by the dash trim panels. Put any screws and clips back into place.Reconnect the car battery. Turn the car on, and if the blown fuse was the problem, the radio should work.

2001 Volkswagen Passet brake lights don't work
It should be printd into the fuse cover. If you can't see a fuse blown, then thats not your problem. Check the clearing at the top of the brake pedle to the brake acuator and if there is an overlarge gap it will not work the electrical circut.
