Car daoes not start, batery problems?

My chrysler voyager does not start but the lights and radio works. It started yesterday after I was listening the radio while I was working in my back yard. When I try to start the car ir make a wird noice likr: takatakataka.... It is a problem with the batery?

Hi , If you turn on the headlights on dip/full beams , then crank the engine and see if the lights dim considerably ........... If the do it's a battery voltage type problem, If they don't it's a starting motor type problem . ie open circuit or dud starter,

Sounds like you fried something when you jumped it. Make sure all the cables and wires are good and not burnt. Check fuses, and replace as necessary.
