Could a broken vacuum valve switch cause my 1995 Toyota 4 runner v6 to idle ruff and stall every time I

please get your car rescanned and fault codes cleared even after fitting new parts. the ecu wont always realise the new parts have been fitted.
obviously any vacuum leak will cause an idle fault because air is being vented into the engine that is not recorded by air sensors etc.
let me kno what happens when all dtc codes are cleared and vacuum switch is replaced.
cheers

Throttle body

Cleaning the throttle body often fixes this problem otherwise you will likely need to replace the throttle control motor. At the throttle control motor monitor the clutch operation. Check to see if the computer is supplying the clutch circuit with a 12 volt square wave pulse signal. With the key in the on position, check to see if the throttle motor makes a buzzing noise as the throttle is opened and closed. With the key off, push the throttle plate open with your finger and allow it to close. The throttle plate should open and close smoothly.

96 monte carlo idle fluctuates when standing still. Also lights go dim when idle drops. changed both O2 sensors, battery, tensioner belt, and altenator. Mechanic thinks its the choke sensor but knows...

Hello and welcome. sounds like the throttle body may be just dirty. remove hose from air cleaner to the throttle body. clean out the throttle body bore and around the throttle body with some throttle body cleaner. then retest and see if the problem is repaired

Toyota 2001, 4-runner, 158k...the check engine,VSC/TRAC, and TRAC OFF warning lights came on at the same time and have stayed on...what could be the problem?

VSC lights always go on during a "Check engine" period so just get the engine fault code and DIY or go to a TRUSTED mechanic (or someone you trust goes to).It is likely an emissions problem.

2001 toyota tocoma idle rought

I'm not a mechanic. I had a similar problem with Tacoma. Mine had an "idle adjustment" screw on the side of the throttle body. (It's inset and black). Mark the position of the screw and remove it counting the turns. (This is so you can put it back in at the correct setting). Once removed, clean the screw with carb cleaner. Pay special attention to the end the enters the throttle body. Spray some carb cleaner in the throttle body also. Replace screw to original setting. It worked for me. Good luck!

Toyota 4 runner fuel pressure

pressuer should actually raise under throttle, but not much. maybe 5psi. 38-44psi is the correct range. if your dropping much I would replace the fuel filter. next I would check the tank for debris or water, finally i would replace the Fuel pressure regulator.
