Hopefully your not attempting to replace a fuel pump in this vehicle or the tank its self?
There is no drain plug you have to purchase a fuel extractor pump. They are manual or electric. You put pump hose in tank threw fill up and start pumping the fuel out into its container.
CAUTION; WEAR EYE AND BREATHING PROTECTION. KEEP FIRE EXTINGUISHER'S HANDY.

the gas tank is kind of a pain coming off. I strongly recommend washing the underside of the vehicle before you go about removing the gas tank. It is fastened by metal straps usually, and you will have to take nuts off of straps, then remove hoses from tank , twist the collar on the fuel pump mount and remove fuel pump. I would definitely get someone to help you, and having a chiltons repair manual will be a great help. It is a big job, and time consuming, you might check around and see if a repair shop would do it for a decent price. Good luck and be extra careful about sparks around your fuel tank, no drills or electric tools they have sparks when they operate and can possibly ignite fumes from tank. Air tools are best.
