Lambda sensor I have changed lambda sensor, and chek motor light is burning again

have throttle body checked also the MDK throttle motor,
make sure that the dealer has followed service bulletin 12 07 99 for procedure to replace the MDK throttle motor
also have them check for codes,here are some codes,
it could be an expensive job,have them check everything,it is most likely the throttle motor,,throttle body is 600 if they switch it,dont let them do it without checking throttle motor,

My corsa has had a LAMBA SENSOR fault so ive changed them, front & back, but with no joy, has anyone got any ideas could it be a ECU fault

generally aftermarket parts are made from the original toyota models so it is doubtful that is the problem. There may be a short in the wires that are causing the sensor to burn out. I would suggest first taking to your local auto parts store and have them scan the ECU for the problem. I hope this helps. Please rate this Thank you

P0420 is one of two things, it is either a catalyst failure (below threshold) or rear lambda.

The rear lambda should have a steady waveform when the engine is running if not then P0420 will be stored.

Cats and lambdas are very common on Subaru.

As the car is older than 2001 it does not come under R103 regulations therefore you could cut out the old cat and replace with a Carsound (Magnaflow) universal bullet. That will save you £££
The Subaru lambdas are now available aftermarket so try a motor factor, not the dealers.

The Nox sensor fits after the catalyst (non FSi models had a rear lambda) the lambda on your car is near the engine and has 5 wires because it is a broardband type.
The Nox sensor is a common fault on all FSi models

well you have to change it and your car is not very envirmently friendly with the lambda sensor you will use extra fuel, it will run shity........ get an mouth spaner and loosen it and unplug it and twist it out..

Motor control system failure means either 2 things
1 A fault with the ecu
2 A fault with the exhaust and lambda sensors
