2000 Lincoln navigator- blend door issue. The blend door is not getting the full range of motion. It is only getting about 10 degrees in either direction. It is not clicking and the motor seems strong judging by how forcefully the door moves. Could this be a calibration issue? If so what is the fix? Does the actuator need to be replaced?
The door hinge could actually be broken. The door and hinge are all plastic. When you remove the lower console you can actually feel if the door is loose. There is an aftermarket replacement with metal hinges that works great. Normally you have to remove the entire dash to replace or fix it, but the aftermarket one has you go through the glovebox and cut a hole in the duct to reove the old door and replace it with the new one. (You epoxy the cutout back in to seal it - it's out of side and is totally airtight.) I recommend looking into that.

if you need this info you should not attempt this yourself. it takes special tools and can be dangerous doing this and not knowing what not to do.also if you get it done and its not correctly done it could cause a accident hurting you or your family or others. i recomend this job be done by the pros. good luck. sorry if you did not want to hear this.

SOURCE: constant high heat
on climate control press off and heat button and let go quickly. Then press automatic. The display will start rotating eventually displaying a code 025,125 , 024 etc. Then press defrost to stop. You may hear blend door operating atb that time. It worked for my climate control.
