How do I replace the dash lighting bulbs at the heater controls on a 1987 Mercedes 190E 2.3 ? Anyone know how to remove heater controls to replace bulbs?

Remove the metal part of the ashtray, you will see two screws that hold the ashtray plastic part on, underthis is the screws for the lower panel You can now carefully lift the whole panel away.

Tip: The max point reward for answering a question is 15.
2 forward brackets unclip and fold away and then door pivots up to show fuses. The screwed doen cover has 4 screws to come off uncovering the relays behind the fuses.
The stop leak has most likely clogged the heater core. Or the blend door for the HVAC isnt working in the dash anymore. Either way a big job to fix them.

hello,be sure your starter motor is working,fly wheel gear(for starter bendix drive)should also check,valve clearance also,try to rotate your engine with socket 27mm,(manually) maybe your piston is stuck-up,ty
