2004 S80 Volvo Driver door locks

flat battery in the fob
broken power wire between the door hinges
faulty door lock actuators
faulty master control switches
or faulty door switches at the doors

flash confirms that the car is fully locked. Check if all doors are closed and if didn't disabled alarm.

check central locking system fuse it controls all door locks and other acessories.need go to dealership buy remote keys..

I HAVE A Volvo v70 2005 Everything is dead on the passenger door. no centre lock or window actuvation. The bad part I cannot open the door ( I think when there is no electric to the door the ded bolt keeps the door locked. How to get the door open so I can take the trim panel off to see why there a problem

I had a similar problem w recently bought 2003 S80.Several points: 1) Access your locking selonoid through the trunk interior panel ... loosen a few hex bolts and slide out for maintenance; 2) I fixed my lock by simply using light teflon-based oil (like for bike chains). I exercised it a few times and it works beautifully; 3) Not sure on your model, but gas door on the '03 unlocks when you push the associated release button under the headlight control switch. It is not designed to unlock w the key (again, check owners manual for your year). Hope this helps. master_pre08-04-2007, 09:35 AMYeah, the fuel door on my 2000 S80 is connected with the door locks. 2009 right. This needs to go back to the dealer. Everything is computer related. Only a qualified volve tech should look at this. Everything is still covered under warrenty

your door lock cable is of the lock so it wont lock it,you will have to take of the door panel and the lock where you use to open by hand from inside the cable goes down to the lock ,connect it theres a little hole for it has to go in there make sure your clips are good on that cable put in and will lock and unlock witout problems.please leave comment,vote,note.thankyou
