My getz 1.5cdri dose not alwas start. two week ago it would not start for three days then just started. while it did not start had a dinostik run and had no problems. took copputer box out , tdc sencor and crank and cam sencors tested no problem. what could be wrong
Need to check the (starting system), battery, and the starter.
you may also need engine tune-up.

Yes this could be caused by the Nissan NATS system. Your keys may need to be initilized for the car. Is the SECURITY light on steady, or is it flashing?? Check it. If its steady, than the NATS locked you out and you will not start the car. If its flashing, than NATS should be all set and the car should start. MAke sure, that you are using initilized keys.

You said you changed the ecm module, is that the ecm or the ignition module. Do you have access to a scanner to check cranking rpm? That way you can test the new crank sensor and the wiring and the ignition module.

I had the same problem. I found out that the fuel pump was not putting out enough pressure. changed the pump and bam down the road I went.

replace fuel filter first then test fuel pump with a rented fuel pump tester regulator test pressure while running then pull hose on the fuel pressure regulator see if the pressure goes up if it does then it does not need replacing you will need to replace then fuel pump and fuel sock, and if you ran it lower than 1/4 tank you may have over heated the pump.
