Why is my car giving an incorrect error?

1. Pull the hood release lever under the dash to release the hood.
2. Locate the hood latch under the center of the hood and push the latch to the left. Lift the hood and open completely.
3. Locate the battery on the driver's side of the engine compartment above the front wheel.
4. Loosen the bolt on the negative battery cable using the adjustable wrench.
5. Remove the negative battery cable from the terminal post. If it does not come loose easily, you may need to twist the cable end side to side until the cable end is free of the post.
6. Reattach the negative battery cable end to the the negative post on the battery by pressing it firmly onto the post.
7. Tighten the bolt on the negative battery cable until you are unable to move the cable on the battery post.
8. Close the hood of the Grand Caravan.

Disconnect one of the battery cables from its terminal for five minutes. Reconnect the cable to the post and it should be reset and your car should start. Be sure to tighten the clamp on the cable. It is very important to have a secure cable attachment to the battery post.

car needs to be brought to dealer possibly to be reset, or you can TRY:
1. remove BOTH battery terminals on battery for at LEAST 5 minutes, on the last 2 minutes of that, use a small piece of wire and touch the 2 terminals together { WITHOUT EITHER TOUCHING BATTERY TERMINALS [ EITHER TERMINAL WHILE THEY ARE JOINED ] !!!!}
2. this is usually called a Hard Reset, and drains all power from modules while battery is disconnected..
3. Make sure, you have the CORRECT key for vehicle, even if car came with a VALET type key, use a KNOWN good key/keyfob..
4. reconnect terminals to battery.
5. try and restart...

• 1 Open the hood of the Lumina.
  
• 2 Locate the negative battery terminal on the battery. This has a black wire and is identified by a negative "-" stamped on the battery housing.
  
• 3 Disconnect the negative battery terminal using a box-end wrench and isolate it so it does not come back into contact with the negative battery post.
  
• 4 Leave the negative battery terminal disconnected for 10 to 15 minutes.
  
• 5 Reconnect the negative battery terminal and recheck the service-engine-soon light by starting the car.
  

Pull off poss side terminal on battery for 5mins and reconnect!

I would have the battery tested first to be 100% that the battery isnt at fault. clean your terminals so the alternator can give it a good charge. One of the cells in the battery could be giving out.

You can reset the ecu by pulling the battery terminals for 5 minutes. If you are trying to clear a code, it will eventually return after a few days or so. the best action is to repair the issue at hand....

make sure your gas cap is turned until it clicks un do the positive terminal on the battery for a minute then reconnect it this should reset the obc

May have had a lousy connection - the battery terminals on these are terrible.
