I just bought a 2004 trailblazer with the single cd deck in it. right now, if you set it to a station it will work... for about 10 seconds. then it'll run seek, even run by known stations, all the way back to the original station.. for another 10 seconds. the kicker is that the only 3 switches that work are the tuner, power and volume. other than that, nothing else works correctly. if you try to set a station or try to use the cd player, it will either start seeking or if it's already seeking, it'll go to the original station. any solution would be a great deal of help because i really don't want to go buy a new deck or bring it to a dealership to have them fix it.
Just sayin, could be a bad antenna connection, or buy another one on ebay, WAY cheaper than a shop.

check with the dealer tell them what is going on but my guess is it is the antenna is the issue

if you have installed a new cd player in there then the propblem could be that your speaker wires and either touching each other or grounding them selfs out.. pull of the cd player and check to make sure all the speaker wires are covered properly and no bare wires are exposed.. if you still have a factory cd player in it then you will probably need to take it to a dealership to have it checked out..
