Try pulling the engine coolant temp sensor, They often crack not sure why but the ceramic tip cracks makes the car hard to start, the car's idle may race while shifting gears, and often smokes. The sensor is on the right side of the engine when looking at it on the head. Easy to change and get too

check coolant temp sensor located at driver side end of cyl head. remove sensor and check or cracks. also check connector for corrosion. if cracked, go to dealer for replacment. they eill sell you a new designed metal sensor to replace your cracked plastic one. dont buy aftermarket, they will not be accurate. cracked sensor will cause eng. to run rich. may start ok cold but not when hot.

"Just need to know how to aline...". What? The best advice that I can give you is to get the Haynes repair manual on your vehicle. Anything that will need aligning should be explained in that manual. Good Luck.

SOURCE: How do you change a

Impossible as it has a hydraulic clutch, and no it cannot be adjusted. It has a small master cylinder and a slave cylinder, just like a brake system. If one of those has failed, you buy a pre-bled replacement for the whole little system and bolt it in.

All you should have to do is squeeze the plastic clips together, you may need a pliers. Another thing that helps is spray some WD-40 in there and rotate the filter on the line a little.
