Bulb burnt out on license plate

can you rich from trunk,maybe has clips.

Hello: Remove the license plate, then remove the screws on the chrome piece behind the license plate and the you can access the bulbs.

mcdevito75 here, Just above the license plate in the bumper you should see the light lens, simply remove the 2 screws and change the bulb/bulbs

kind of tricky, took me an hour to get it figured out, but you got to opend the trunk and take out the 10 or so 10mm nuts sticking out of the backside of the lid, then the whole solid piece where the lights are on the back will slide off, then you can change the bulbs above the license plate and put it all back together

remove the 2 license lamp screws from outside,above the lic.plate then from insidethe trunk pull up the lic.lamp housing and replace the bulb.it should pull straight out

this is straight out of the book ok

1. Open the rear compartment lid.
2. Remove the rear compartment lid trim.
3. Pull back on the rear compartment trim panel.
4. Unplug the lamp connector from the rear compartment lid wiring harness.
5. Press the grommet out of the rear compartment lid.
6. Remove the nuts retaining the lamp assembly to the rear compartment lid.
7. Remove the bulb.

its real simple look at the license plates then look up you will see 2 screw per lamp / unscrew them and slide remove its a 194 bulb so get some ready then replace and put back / Please rate my response thank you very much

remove your license and behind it you will find i think two screws then remove that panel and you should be able to get to it.

If you place the flate blade of a screwdriver to the right side of the light(s) housing. And push gently to the left the catch will release and the unit will drop out of the trunk lid. Twist the bulb 1/4 turn and remove. Just reverse the process to complete.
Open the trunk to eye level to see to make it easier to see. Applies to all 02-05 Devilles
