When the car is stopped and the engine is off the "Hands Free Link" works sometime however, when you start to drive and say "Call a number or a name” in the phonebook it spits back stuff like "Pardon, or a series of numbers, or wrong names in the phonebook” and anything but the item you are trying to call.
It has been tested by several people, all to find the same problem. I have two of these brand new 2009 vehicles and both do the same.
I believe, when there is any ambient noise (car running, a/c, road noise etc.) it renders the Bluetooth system useless no matter how loud or soft you put the name or number in.
The navigation and other voice commands work flawlessly but that is a different module or unit.
Any help is greatly appreciated,
Thanks so much
SOURCE: starter installation
1st disconnect neg battery cable, then check the connections of all wiring to starter to make sure there's no corrosion, or bad connections. If anything looks corroded, clean it up with fine sandpaper or a wire brush, reconnect and see if it works. If not, remove the starter: disconnect neg battery cable 1st (always), then pos.,then disconnect large cable from starter, then label and remove wires to starter solenoid, some models have a clip holding engine harness (bundle of wires), remove clip and move wires out of the way, remove starter mounting bolts. Reverse to install. Good Luck Countrycurt0

Sounds like the car is just slipping out of gear. Keep your hand on the shifter when you back up next time. See if you can feel the shifter move when the car comes out of gear. If the shifter moves up when it happens keep pressure on the shifter holding it back like you dont want it to move forward. And of course if the shifter moves back when it comes out of gear, put forward pressure on the shifter so it doesnt slip out. This might work for now but but i know i wouldnt want to spen 700 for that ****. Let me know how it goes.

Here is the most common cause of surges and stalls, it is the idle speed control air-bypass valve and throttle valve, they get full of gunk over the miles and cause idle issues (stalls) like yours, Get a can of intake cleaner from any local parts store, not carb spray, intake cleaner, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake.

Problems with a new car should be under warrenty. Take it back to your dealer as attempting to repair it may void your warrenty and cost you big money.
