May be located next to steering column: it\'s in a little bracket and this might be dealership fix. BCM controls turn signals and hazard warning lights if you do not see it under steering column.

YJ Blinker Relay

Hi there,

Both the hazard and the blinker flashers are located on the fuse panel. They pull straight out.

When both turn signals fail, the cause may be a blown fuse, a faulty flasher, a broken turn signal switch or a bad connection.

When you try the turn signals, do they light up and not blink?
-If so, probably the flasher unit.

When you try the turn signals, does nothing happen?
-Check the fuse

Let me know if the problem continues after replacing the flasher.

Turn signal does not work sometimes

If the problem occurs on either side, the blinker relay is getting tired.
These are mostly located under the dashboard and may be in a cylindrical can plugged into a mating connector.

If it is happening only on one side, you may have a corroded lamp socket or the bulb itself.
When the standard thermal blinker relay is used and a problem with contact or a complete bulb failure occurs, your dash indicator will blink more rapidly than usual since the blinker relay is dependent on having a certain amount of current flowing through it which controls the blink frequency.
