Stalls and will not re start for at least 12 to 15 minutes. have changed crank sensor, and fuel filter. Have 38 lbs pressure from fuel pump. Module was changed 3 years ago but not by me. I'm thinking module or on board computer.Any thoughts on iac valve? I have also banged on the mass air flow senser with no reaction al all. Also have removed the mass air flow senser and have examined for carbon and was clean..
You may have a faulty crank sensor again. Next time it cuts off hot, spray or pour water on it and then try to see if it will crank. These cars had a cutting off problem with ecm #1228253 but most of them would start right back up. If it has that number on it replace it.with #16198264 or newer number. Get a delco and not an aftermarket ecm..

Fuel pressure at idle with the vacuum line attached to the pressure regulator 34 to 38 psi. with the vacuum hose connected the pressure should be 42 to 45. Try to collapse or block the return line and see if the pressure goes up.Also closely inspect the MAF air duct for torns and false air
Is the Service Engine Soon (or Check Engine) light illuminated on the instrument panel? If so, then have someone pull the codes and post them back here. Autozone will do this for you at no cost.Caution: don't purchase any parts after reading the codes on their recommendation! If no codes, then suspect either a bad crankshaft sensor or camshaft sensor. There are other possibilities too, but these are primary. I have seen MANY bad crank sensors do exactly what your describe without setting a code.
you might want to chk. the crank sensor and or cam sensor. sounds more to me that it could be fuel problem. chk. fuel pressure. pump could be on its way out. don't be fooled by hearing the pump running as they sound like they are pumping but there not, at least not enought pressure to keep it running. pressure should be around 50 p.s.i.
