The glow plug light flashes on my vw sharan(2005) diesel while the engine is running , can you please tell me what seems to be the problem and also will i be expensive to fix, thankyou.
This means you most likely have a burnt out glow plug or glow plug timer control or both
as far as repair cost goes i would think in the $100's, depends on how much they charge per hour for labor where u live and how much the dealer marks up the parts prices, that varies greatly from dealer to dealer, we (my dealer) marked up about 60% over list price, imports in most cases mark up 100-120%.
