Wow... a NEW Lincoln and they can't figure out how to resolve this? I would try a different dealership (under warranty) OR a top notch front end shop (but you will have to pay). Sounds like a simple alignment problem OR tires. Did they rotate the tires?
I wonder why they replaced both control arms? Some mechanics are still in the "let's replace parts until we fix it" mode.
Good Luck
SOURCE: How do you get the rear caliper to retract when
Need to buy a tool at auto parts store ,that
fits the rear caliper piston,so you can turn it
clockwise. ( Looks like a cube) $8.00
What your doing is actually turning in or back -- the
parking brake adjuster.
The tool will be turned with a 3/8" extension & ratchet
Opening the bleeder valve will help as you have to
push the piston in as well as turn it in.
Need to bleed all 4 wheels every 2 years anyway.
You may have to file the tool to get a combination
that will work
I had to do that with the Lincoln LS
Once the pads are on,you ratchet up the parking
brake, bringing the pads in contact with the rotors.
Press the brake pedal a few times before going into
rev or drive, to seat pads
The notch on the caliper piston, goes to the top
so the pin on pads will fit
