92 dodge van rear ABS-brake and ABS lights on/can't reset?

I have replaced all brakes and brake lines.I have brake pressure but not a solid pedal.I assume there is a proper way to bleed this system ,but haven't found it yet! How do you reset the proportional valve and the ABS so the light on the dash is off! I have gravity bleed and assistant bleed, but still have a low brake.Rear brakes are adjusted firm, new roters, calipers.and brake pads on front. Master clyinder clean with new seals!

Its probably how your bleeding your brakes, but first make sure the bleeding nipples are facing upward. You should bleed diagonaly, front pass wheel then rear driver wheel. Then front driver wheel and rear pass wheel. The abs light has its own computer your have to get it scanned to clear the codes and turn off the light

Bleed the brakes diagonaly front pass to rear drive the front drive to rear pass. Also just double check that the bleed nipples are facing upward. The ABS has its own computer you need to get it scanned to clear any codes and have the light turned off.

No pressure on brake pedal 95 suburban 2500 4x4 7.4L

try bleeding your ABS block first, if that doesn not work could need a master or proportioning vavle. Some scan tools are capable of bleeding the ABS system on some vehicles, and some you have to bleed manually.

Bleeding abs 1993 chevrolet p/u, brakes are not solid, I have bled all cylinders starting with master cylinder, left rear to front disc. The pedal is soft and brake light stays on? I have replaced new brake...

Did you bench bleed the MC before installing it? If not, that's the problem. MUST be bench bled or you'll always have air. If brakes lights are on, the brake switch is out of adjustment OR (since you replaced the MC), the push rod is out of adjustment

Bad brake master cylinder could cause this, It will start leaking internally and not build up pressure. Will happen just do to age, will need to replace it and bleed brake system.

I am working on a 2004 dodge caravan with a soft brake problem.i have replaced the rear shoes and adjusted rear brakes, also replaced front rotors and pads.i have also replaced the master cylinder.after...

try bleeding the master cylinder at the lines first as it indicates that there is still air in the pistons
loosen one line at a time and gently apply the brakes until any air bubbles come out tighten the line before releasing the brake pedal
do it for the other line and then bleed all the brakes starting at the longest line first and ending at the shortest line

Driver side brake not bleeding properly after bleeding left side and changing rotors, calipers, and pads?

first of all make sure master cylinder is full of brake fluid.then you crank car leave foot off brake pedal. watch abs light on dash it should turn off in 10 seconds if not have car towed to garage or dealer. they have to use a scanner to scan the abs brakes if abs light turn off in 3 seconds. then starting bleeding from master bleed the lower brake line fitting at the proportional valve followed by the upper brake line fitting. keep eye on brake fluid in mastercylinder dont let run dry.next prime the abs hydralic modulator.connect the bleeder hose to the rear bleeder valve on the modulator.place the other end into a container partially filled with cleab brake fluid.make sure the end of the hose is submerged.open the bleeder valve slowly about 1/2 to 3/4 turn have an assistant depress the brake pedal and hold it in the depressed position. when the flow of fluid ceases close the bleeder valve.repeat process until no air bubbles are present in the fluid.then tighten the bleed valve securely. start bleeding brakes. your bleeding sequence is right rear - left front - left rear - right front.WARNING IF ALL FAILS YOUR BRAKES DONT FEEL SOLID AND FEEL VERY SPONGY.DONT DRIVE CAR. HAVE IT TOWED TO DEALERSHIP.THEY WILL HAVE TO PRESSURE BLEED YOUR BRAKE SYSTEM.
