Abs light will not go out after the car need a jump start battier good now

remove the battery of the vehicle and leave off for an hour, the jump start will have made it play up. jump starting some vehicles is not a good idea as the ecu cannot take the load.

If it runs well once it is started, you probably just need a new battery. If you have unusual lights on the display, you probably have a bad alternator.

Check to see if plugs have fuel on them, if not check fuel filter/fuel pump. Check your cap and rotor for wear and plug wires. Check coil for spark. Check air filter. Check wiring connections for corrosion and wear. Check fuses and fusible links.

I got the same problem. u ever figure it out? ive cleared codes and there the same. light on cluster lit up . plus some time after pulln away from stop car goes five mph. turn off start up drives fine. im about to burn this thing.

I just went thru same thing with my 2003 f-350 diesel. I hooked up my horse Trailor and drove to Von's parked went in came back out and truck was dead. I tried to jump it didn't work. Then over next two hours two tow truck Drivers hooked up to both batteries full power charge direct to my truck and would not start.
End story required two new batteries alternator and cilanoid discussed above. In other post. Also contributing to the cause was really badly coroded cables they looked good at the connection point but wher discovered to be coroded inside the tubing just above the end connections so bow it has all been replaced and I have had no trouble since. Have the ABS System diagnosed

Anytime the abs light is on it will disable the abs system.What you need to do is jump the 2 pin blue connector under right side of dash with a paper clip.Turn ignition switch on and count the blinks of the abs light.Most likely is a damaged or shorted abs wheel speed sensor which is most common.Here what the connector looks like that you need to jump....



If your ABS light tunr on, is telling you there is an issue with the abs pump itself.It could be possibly failing or just air bound but theses are known to leak .You need to check the pump next.

Usually, the two are not related. But, if the abs module is damaged it could be throwing an abs light erroneously. Usually an abs light means that a sensor is bad or not picking up a signal from the sensors at the wheels. It is normal for the abs light to light when the ignition is on but the car hasn't started as a bulb check only.

check your fuses. check your fuses. check under the hood on the top row there will be a 60amp fuse i beleive its the second one from the right it controls the abs system its blown. your probably gonna need a new altenator.
