The spanner sign has lit up on my renault clio what does it mean?

my y reg clio has intermittent starting problemm..sometimes i turn key nothing there but dash still lights up..will bump start.then other occasions will start

if it has a crank sensor, take a serious look at that, top of gearbox two 10mm spanner size bolts holding it to the engine. very common on Renaults. put it on a diagnostic, check the RPM signal when cranking. if the ECU doent know the engine is turning it cant fire. 

depends on make of caliper, some are 7mm allen key or 13mm spanner

Try pressing the D3 button on your gear shift - little button below the main one. D3 allows for quick acceleration, but the light also shows when the car is locked is gear ('limp home mode') due to another problem.

This light is telling you that you have an Airbag Problem. You might want to Locate a Mechanic and have this Checked out. This is not something that you want to try and fix yourself as the AirBags could go off and Cost a Lot more to have the Dah and Sterring Wheel Replaced. you may be low on antifreeze, or the switch in your dashboard is not working properly. Check your radiator for proper antifreeze/coolant level first

The spanner is usually an indication that the car needs a service. If the car has just been serviced return to the garage and ask them to reset the service insication. If not take the car in for a service.

Betta Windsrceens Stockport have been repairing sunroofs for 30 years. What i will tell you is both the mk1 and mk2 clios have a problem with the sunroofs.
The sunroof needs to be taken out cleaned damming seal on frame removed and fitted back with silicone sealer excess sealer clean of with white sprite no need to remove head lineing if fitted with 10 mm bolts use a ratchet spanner. Mk1 clios also leak from the arial remove and reseal. And mk1 & mk2 have a problem with the bulk head filling up with water. Open bonnet on the back of the bulk head is a hose about 6 inches long which gets blocked un block and the water can drain like it did the day the car left the factory. bettabob
