Idle Control Solinoid Will Cause this with No Engine Light. = ICS
SOURCE: super low idle,sometimes stalls
You need to replace your IAC (idle air control valve). The IAC, like it sounds, control the idle of your car. When they go bad they will cause the low idle and stalling. The IAC is located on the throttle body and is usually held on with a couple of screws. It is an easy relatively cheap fix that you can take care of by yourself. Let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks for rating my response and for using FixYa!

Check the prrimary and secondary resistance on your coil. Also check the resistance of the plug wires and plug gap.

1- check for codes with scanner to see why check light coming on. 2 unbolt exhaust before caterlic convertor. Run car to see if still does it.If it does not the caterlic converter is the problem.the car temp should not go over 220 degrees. if car is getting to hot it will shut off, check cooling system and cooling fans to make sure they are comming on. Also if water is flowing through thermastat.Map sensor when gets hot could cut out. some places to look. doug
