you would have to reprogram the new key or computer to the same code or frequency aswell as the milage.
call a local locksmith and ask if they reprogram chippped car keys. Runs you from $50 - $150

No, that's not the problem (sort of), your car computer needs to be reprogrammed...you should be fine once it's reprogrammed or have the computer replaced. Having it reprogrammed is cheaper "IF" the computer is ok, only a mechanic will know that...it's not a job that can be fixed at home...it requires special equipment.
