How do I find the location of the pvc valve on my 2011 chevy equinox

The PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) Valve? Or the PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) Valve. :>D

The PCV valve in a 2011 Chevy Equinox can be found on the back of the engine at the valve cover, it is pretty close to the firewall in this engine compartment. The valve is there to help control and regulate the emissions from Your engine.

What's the 2011 Chevy Equinox 2.4 Pcv valve location?

PVC Replacement

Sorry Darryl I am not conversant with PVC connected to cars. Do you perhaps mean PCV?
Positive crankcase ventilation is sometimes controlled by a valve which should be checked, cleaned or replaced as required during routine maintenance.

The PCV valve is often found screwed into the engine valve cover and is part of the engine breather system which vents foul crankcase emissions either into the air cleaner or into the inlet manifold.

I hope this helps.

I have oil leaking into my air filter, when i got my oil change the guys there said that i needed to get a new pvc valve but when i called chrystler to pick one up they told be that that wouldn't do...

I would replace the PVC valve, a worn / defective unit could cause the problem you are seeing.

Do make sure the oil is not over filled, consider a heavier weight, but unfortunately, due to the age, this is also likely a high-mileage engine, so you are more likely producing much more back pressure from worn rings etc. into the valve cover causing the problem.

Older cars simply had vents on the valve covers, newer ones direct that back into the intake to reduce smog emissions.

Hope this helps.

Codes

Your sensors are reading correctly so leave them alone. What you have is a fuel delivery issue. Your MAF sensor is telling your engine to lean your fuel mixture. You need to remove and clean or replace (is better) the MAF. But first replace your PVC valve and clean your ERG valve.

99 Rodeo 3.2 V6 fuel injected .

sounds like u may need a new fuel pump, the problem is the system doesn't hold fuel pressure after shut down, the check valve that does this is part of the fuel pump in the gas tank.
