If you look down at your exhaust manifold you will see a sensor sticking out that looks like a o2 sensor. It is not. Its an air fuel ratio sensor and it works totally different then a o2 sensor.THis is the sensor that helps adjust the air fuel mixture. If you follow the exhaust system back under the car about 1/2 way you will see another sensor in the exhaust . This is the o2 sensor and is used to monitor the condition of the convertor.
If you need one of these sensors you will have a check engine lite on with a AF or o2 code.

SOURCE: Locate O2 Sensors
Hello mail4rj: My name is Roger and I will help you. Bank 1 sensor 1 means the cylinder head with #1 cylinder located in it. B2S1 is the cylinder head opposite the #1 cylinder. Basically locate the oxygen sensors in front of the catalytic converters and you will have the sensor you asked to locate. Any sensors behind the converters would be wrong. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer you received. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger
