How to reset my pcm on 2004 grandprix

2004 WJ JEEP MODEL., NO ENGINE OR VIN TOLD
NOR COUNTRY, MY ANSWER IS USA ONLY.
there is no such thing A .(button reset?) or what?
no problem told at all. ( fuel pressure zero cranked?)
yes the PCM brain shuts down fuel for many reasons.

• SRS see collision tripped. scan the srs
• fuses blown to pcm or pump and more check all fuses. is what a tech does.
• PCM sees (detects ) sparks bad or any of its precursors ,CKP and or CMP sensors dead
• TPS SENSOR GROUND WIRE BROKEN
• fuel pump relay bad. we test it.Or its ground bad.
• TCM (PCM) SEE TRANSMISSION STUCK IN GEAR , THIS PREVENTS CRANKING 100%
• FUSE 12 BLOWN PUMP FUEL FUSE 19 OR 24.
• ASD RELAY TRIPPED, AUTOMATIC SHUT DOWN FOR MANY REASONS, ASK THEM ??
• ASD FUSE 6 BLOWN OR FUSE 26.
• spark coil or injector shorts.
• and more if a fuse does blow a tech finds out why first doing more tests, ask.
• i will end here there is not a full list nor does it cover all engines nor diesel version of the car.

The fuel pressure regulator doesn't send any signals to the PCM - engine computer , not even hooked up electrically to the computer . Your best bet , have it towed to a qualified repair shop.

check that the pins in the relay socket and the PCM connector are good and make contact youshouldsee12v at pcm... PCM is last resort. Check the fuel relay first for melting or burnt smell.

No fuel shut off or reset , Fuel pump relay in the power distribution center under the hood in engine compartment . Also check ASD relay . Also go to you tube an check out how it works . Fuel pump relay is energized by the PCM / ECM - engine computer . The computer will only energize the relay if there is no anti-theft system problem an it receives a good crankshaft position sensor signal . Watch this video on fuel pump circuits . alarm /immobilisor light on ?? try the spare key

the car will not run if the theft sensor light is flashing the computer is not picking up the right vin the pcm thinks the car is beining stole so it shuts the fuel pump down .the only way to rest it is to have the pcm flash

Not sure what secondary fuel mod you are posting about, can you explain what this is ?
Have you checked the fuel inertia switch in the passenger side kick panel ?
Is this a 2004 New Body style or 2004 Heritage / Lightning ?
If it is a New body style, have you checked / replaced the fuel pump driver module ? This is on the cross member by the spare tire, and some times they get corroded and crack.


The fuel pump is powered from the Fuel pump relay ( non serviceable in the Cab fuse panel ) to the fuel inertia switch to the fuel pump driver module. The PCM is also connected to the fuel pump driver module
The fuel pump relay normally open contact is powered by Fuse #34 ( this fuse also feeds the PCM ). The fuel pump relay coil is powered by the PCM power relay.
If you are testing and the truck has not started, the PCM will shut off the Fuel pump after 5 seconds ( 8 ? ) of not having started. The only way to clear this is to have the truck start, or disconnect the battery.
Have you tested the fuel pressure on the fuel rail ?

The fuel pump relay is in the engine compartment fuse block at location K4/C-1051.
