Check parts listing for your vehicle. It may list a combination flasher module instead of a simple flasher. If so, that's why you can't find the flasher. Module is usually under dash on right side of steering column.

1967 GMC 2500 brake lights flash on and off except when blinkers are turned on. How do I fix it ?

Sounds like you need a new turn signal switch. And a new flasher relay, just in case your old one got overused! Those little flasher relay cylinders were real cheap back in the day, about $2. It's under the dash around the steering column, probably in a little metal clip (yea, real metal). Don't confuse it with the hazards flasher, both look the same. You can hear and feel the turn blinker flasher when it is doing its thing, and same with the hazards flasher, if you want to check. The clicking is the make and break contact of the circuit to cause a blinking bulb.

The reason I say you need a new turn signal switch is because the brake light signal wire is routed through the turn signal switch before it goes to the rear brake light bulbs. It is inside the turn signal switch that the brakes and rear turn signal lights are made to share the same filaments inside the bulbs. The brake lights don't pass through the flasher, but somehow your turn switch is sending power to the flasher. If the wiring under your dash has not been radically altered, really messed up, then your turn signal switch has got infected with a malware virus: it is worn out and needs replacing. Good luck with that old piece of iron, Greg.

Cant resolve a blinker issue, Tried the easy stuff.

The signal wire going to the right front has a splice for the dash indicator, a wire branching off from the turn wire and going to the dash. It sounds like that right signal wire is broken or lost a connection before it splices off to the dash, so the problem sounds like it is under the dash, either coming out of the turn signal switch to the flasher or from the flasher to that splice. You may need a multi-meter to check voltages on that wire at various places under the dash. Ascertain which color wire you need to concentrate on. Check for voltage on it with key on and right blinker on-voltmeter will spike to battery voltage, then fall to zero as the flasher breaks voltage continuously, if checked after the flasher. If checked when leaving the turn switch, it should be a continuous signal on that wire. Think you better find a wiring diagram to find the right wire to check. Good luck.

My blinkers dont work. fuse is good. hazards work. what might the problem be

locate the hazard flasher unit under the dash by turning on flasher and feel flasher unit clicking. the turn flasher unit looks ths same and is close to the signal flash unit and may be interchangable. switch the 2 units and see if the turn flashers work now and replace faulty flash unit

Toyota blinker makes noise when the blinkers aren't on.

You need to replace flasher unit. This regulates the flashing speed. Check under the drivers side dash (it may hang amongst wires or in a fuse box) or under bonnet where all the large fuses are (these will be in a covered box). Sounds like under dash because of noise. Google search flasher units to see what the look like.
