91 accord, This Girl needs help quick!!!!!!

I have a 91 Honda Accord DX, I hooked up my new stereo and had blown the back up radio Fuse. My Clock stopped Working immediately, then my power seat belts went next... To top it off once I started driving the odometer speedometer, and the gas and temp gage went too. I need the seat belts working other wise I cannot drive the car. I have a manual and know a lot about hondas but I am a little overwhelmed as I just bought this car to get me around and now its failing. I am a girl biut a do it yourself kind that likes to keep the money she works for. So if anyone can please help me trouble shoot this I would be so thankful!!!!!! Thanks again.

I had a Mechanic help me with my stereo. All the wiring was done the right way, I didnt do any wiring, all I bought was the radio and the adapter harness that matched the make and model of my car. and plugged it in, then it worked. the Odometer didnt work when I bought the car unless it was first start of the morning. I just need to know if the fuse is blown or if I need a new speed sensor. The stereo is done right! Also the passanger seat belt didnt work either when I bought it. I am trying to fix it on my own. any idea's?

Well those are the Problems, but I can assure you it has nothing to do with the stereo. However thanks for your comments and advice.

In your first post, you make it sound like all hell broke loose when the radio went in. My first comment stands!

You need to pull that radio out now! Remove any wiring you did, tape it up and take the car to an installer and have the radio put back in properly before you burn the car to the ground.

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM, ALL OF A SUDDEN THE WHOLE INSTRUMENT PANEL WENT OFF NO RPM, NO TEMP, NO CLOCK, NO ENGINE LIGHT, OR ANY OTHER WARNING LIGHTS, ONLY THE TURNING SIGNALS AND THE BATTERY LIGHT WORKED. SEAT BELTS AND WINDOWS STOPPED WORKING. MY RADIO HAS BEEN INSTALLED FOR OVER 4 MONTHS SO I REALLY DOUBT IT IS THE RADIO. IF ANYONE KNOWS WHAT IT COULD BE PLEASE LET IT BE KNOWN. ALL FUSES ARE GOOD ALSO.

If the seat belts don't work take it to the honda dealer, there is a lifetime warranty on seat belts for the life of the car no matter who owns it. And they will replace them for free. Call the service department and ask.

I have a 1991 honda accord EX and my clock doesn't show up when my car is on and my seatbelt doesn't automatically work when the car is on too.

I had this happen to me and though the clock worked it didn't hold time.... try the 7.5amp fuse (radio backup) in the hood see if its blown i replaced it and my passive restraints worked and my clock held its time if that doesn't work try looking at the rest of the fuses to see if one has ben blown like maybe the radio fuse

Clock, power locks, power windows and radio not working

for the check engine light you will have to borrow a OBD2 code scanner from your local auto parts store and find out what the code is. although it may be related to: for your electrical problem there is a blown 10 or 15 amp fuse. just check your fuse box for one that is blown. there may be more than one. replace with same-amperage fuse and see if it happens again.
