97 hyundai accent no headlights or heater fan

1997 Hyundai accent 2dr hatchback. tried to charge a dead battery (no help) replaced the battery with a new one. car now runs. but I do not have any headlights low or hi beam or heater fan checked all fuses and circuit bracers replaced 2 fuses all fuses and circuit breakers are now good also checked the head lamps they are not blown still no headlights or fan

    Are your headlight bulbs stock bulbs, or were they replaced with aftermarket HID bulbs?

Under the dash fuse box ,fuse 15 (TCM ECT) is a combination of cluster, heater and headlights.probably a relay fuse!!!!! fuse 16is a relay fuse.

The hatchback Accent has two windshield wipers--one on the front and one on the hatchback so the pump can run to pump fluid to them each separately. You need a specific pump for that. Wouldnt start like battery was dead belt was squeeling when popped clutch to start drove 8 blocks and belt ripped off

Not much detail but sounds like the battery was dead... Probably due to the worn drive belt which was likely slipping and failing to charge prior to it ripping off!

Replace the belt and get somone with a volt meter to check the charging system.

hi may i suggest you have alternator output /charging checked also considering age of vehicle ? if origional battery ? have the battery checked for charge storage it may be failing to hold charge which would explain the problem you mention regarding use of h/lights slows starter rotation ?

Where is the rear wiper filler jugg for 2005 hyundia accent hatchback.

Changing headlights on hyundai acent 1997

Go to an autozone parts store, or any parts store and they will assist you as long as you buy the bulbs from them. Autozone even has free tools to loan you.
