Hi Dan,I use to have a couple of Chevettes,great on gas,Here's a link on your fuel pump removal,never had a issue with that,on these,you have to change the timing belt every 3 years ,the belt will stretch and jump time and the plugs will get fouled,here's another link on your timing belt if the fuel pump replacement doesn't work,also check your spark plugs. Put a crank sensor on it to fix. They get hot and stop working. Next time it stops pour or spray some water on it and try to start it. Old trick to solve problem

The tightening sequence is from inside to outside crossover as normal. Loosening sequence is from outside to inside crossover. Remember to set torque wrench at low setting and work gradually up through the whole sequence until you get the desired torque.
